It doesn't sound like the most conventional team of heroes, but that's exactly what makes the world of Asterix so much fun.

Asterix
Asterix may be small, but he's rarely underestimated twice.
Clever, courageous and always ready for an adventure, he's the brains behind many of the village's escapes, journeys and battles.
While magic potion certainly helps, Asterix's real superpower is usually thinking his way out of trouble.
Which is useful, considering how frequently trouble seems to find him.
Obelix
Then there's Obelix.
Asterix's best friend, professional menhir delivery man and probably the person you'd most like on your side during a disagreement with the Romans.
Obelix fell into a cauldron of magic potion when he was little, leaving him permanently super-strong.
He's also loyal, enthusiastic, surprisingly sensitive and rarely far away when there's food involved.
Particularly wild boar.
Dogmatix
Completing the trio is Dogmatix, Obelix's tiny white dog.
What he lacks in size he more than makes up for in personality.
He's fiercely loyal, incredibly expressive and has a particular love of trees and nature.
You may also see him called Idefix or Idéfix, depending on the language you're reading Asterix in.
What makes the trio work?
They're completely different.
Asterix thinks.
Obelix charges in.
Dogmatix follows — usually with his own opinion about what's happening.
And somehow it works.
At the heart of so many Asterix stories is the same combination of friendship, humour, teamwork and adventure, which gave us plenty to play with when creating Asterix x Zipster.
Across the collection, each character has been given their own moment — from bold Obelix stripes to playful Dogmatix prints and Asterix styles ready for action.
Because every adventure needs a good team.
